🚨 GUEST SAFETY INCIDENT – READ THE FULL STORY

Booked for 1.
Showed up with 4.
Left.
Came back later — with the same extra people… and a full-sized boombox.
🧠 Make it make sense.

When confronted by security:

“That’s crazy I can’t bring more people.”
Later?
“We’ll just turn up someplace else.”

You will.
But never here again.

❗ HOW THEY EVEN GOT IN?

They never used their code.
They didn’t sneak in.
Another guest let them in.

That’s the part that hurts the most.

🔐 WHY THIS MATTERS

At Stay With Jay, every single guest gets their own code.
Why? Because accountability keeps people safe.

🚪 When you open the door for someone who doesn’t belong here,
you’re not helping —
you’re compromising everyone’s safety.

🛑 WHAT WE DID

  • Safety team responded onsite

  • Cleveland Police were contacted per protocol

  • Trespassers were removed after being warned

  • They took their time leaving and shouted foul language at our team

  • We documented everything — including their exit

  • Booking.com was notified

  • Internal guest status updated permanently

👁‍🗨 ABOUT THE PHOTOS

To the few shouting:

“OMG they’re posting guest pictures!”

Never.

The images shown were taken of trespassers, after repeated warnings, while they refused to leave.

Let’s be real:
📸 Trespassers have no expectation of privacy here.
We run a business, not a playground.
And yes — we will put that behavior on blast.

🙌 TO OUR GOOD GUESTS

Thank you to every guest who:
✅ Uses their own code
✅ Follows rules
✅ Keeps doors closed
✅ Treats others (and our homes) with respect

You’re the reason we do this.

Let’s keep each other safe.
Let’s keep it clean.
Let’s Stay With Jay.
