Alcohol Is Not Prohibited. Dangerous Behavior Is.
Adults are free to make their own choices. However, intoxication is never an excuse for behavior that threatens the safety, comfort, or dignity of others.
The following behaviors will not be tolerated under any circumstances:
- Verbal abuse or intimidation
- Harassment of other guests, neighbors, or staff
- Aggressive, threatening, or disorderly conduct
- Excessive intoxication that creates a disturbance
- Bringing unauthorized visitors who engage in disruptive behavior
- Any conduct that makes others feel unsafe
Zero Tolerance Means Zero Negotiation.
If our team observes this behavior—or if another guest reports it and we verify the situation—we will act immediately.
Depending on the circumstances, that action may include:
- Immediate removal from the property
- Cancellation of the remainder of the reservation without refund where permitted by the booking platform and applicable policies
- Notification to the booking platform
- Contacting local law enforcement whenever necessary
There are no debates, no warnings required, and no exceptions when guest safety is at risk.

Our homes are often shared by professionals, students, healthcare workers, travelers, families, and people who simply need a quiet place to rest.
Everyone deserves to sleep peacefully, walk through the property without being harassed, and enjoy their stay without fear of confrontation.
If you are looking for a place to party, become intoxicated, or create disturbances, Stay With Jay is not the right accommodation for you.
