📖 Story Time: The Cudell Neighborhood
Did You Know?
The Cudell neighborhood is named after Frank (Franz) E. Cudell, a German-born architect who helped shape Cleveland’s west side during the late 1800s.
One of his lasting contributions was donating land that became Cudell Commons, now home to parks, recreation facilities, and community gathering spaces. The historic Cudell House, originally built in 1845, later became one of the first municipally operated arts and crafts centers in the United States.
