What to Pack for Brazil in Late October (2025)
October in Brazil marks the start of spring going into summer — especially in São Paulo and the southeast, where most of your trip will likely take place. Expect warm to hot days (24–32 °C / 75–90 °F) and occasional rain, particularly in the afternoons.
✅ Essentials:
- Lightweight shirts and T-shirts (breathable fabrics)
- Shorts and casual pants
- A couple of nicer outfits for dinners or meetings
- Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers ( If you want an experience, I would recommend buying one pair of dress shoes in Brazil. The quality is tremendous, and the price very convenient)
- Sandal ( plan on buying a pair of Havayanas sandals here)
- Light jacket or hoodie (for cooler evenings or indoor A/C) a must
- light rain jacket (umbrella buy it here)
🕶 Optional but smart:
- Sunscreen and sunglasses — the UV index can be strong
- Hat or cap
- Swimwear — you’ll probably end up near a beach, pool, or waterfall
In short: think warm-weather comfort with one layer for rain or chill.
