Bio:
Francisco Javier Rodríguez Cota, known by friends as Barba, is a visionary builder and design mind from Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico. Founder of Arquitónica, his firm leads full-scope construction projects ranging from six-story commercial builds to high-end residential developments and civic works throughout Sinaloa.
A natural leader with an architect’s eye and a craftsman’s precision, Javier manages teams that bring creativity and safety together on every site. His expertise in facades and functional design made him a natural fit as Advisor and exclusive representative for the StudioHaus brand in Mexico, supporting its 2026–2027 expansion plan.
Jay Silva and Javier first connected through basketball—he coached, Jay played—and from there grew a partnership built on shared respect for design, practicality, and humor. Fluent in English and Spanish, and now picking up Portuguese (including a few colorful phrases from Jay himself), Barba embodies the blend of grit, heart, and vision that defines StudioHaus.
